North American N3155G B-25 “Take Off Time” was moth balled in the Arizona Desert until rescued and restored by Aero Trader of Chino, California. It was used as an instrument trainer during WWII. In August of 1995, N3155G was launched off the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. Other than the Dolittle Raider aircraft, only a few B-25s have been launched from carriers. Although it did not drop bombs during WWII, Tom and his co-pilots Ryan Parente, Jim Vocel and, Lenny Boyd have dropped a fair amount of watermelons from Take-Off Time in the last 20 years.
